Kudos to the litigation group for a series of victories, within the last month!

In a lawsuit based on an expansive set of workplace injuries and related economic damages, Partner Misty Escobedo, assisted by associates Ben Adeeso, Arvin Farangi, and Eddie Patton, secured a summary judgment in favor of a transportation client.

In a highly contested dram shop dispute, GPMZ Senior Counsel Bethany Dow recently secured a summary judgment following extensive briefing and presentation to the court. As part of her practice, Bethany is dedicated to defending restaurants, bars and our valued hospitality client base.

In another win, summary judgment was granted in favor of a hotel defendant in a premises liability matter. In that case, associate Connor Roberts’ advocacy particularly helped drive the team’s success in delivering the favorable outcome.

In another victory, a team led by Partner Joe Zopolsky obtained a favorable ruling for a client in a case based on alleged professional misconduct. In that matter, the court summarily dismissed all claims against the client.
