About
Mr. Frederiksen concentrates on business litigation and labor/employment-related matters. With 50 years of trial experience, Mr. Frederiksen has accomplished a feat that is becoming a rarity in the legal profession. He has served as lead trial counsel in over 150 jury trials held in both state and federal courts. His civil litigation experience includes work in complex commercial matters and employment-related matters such as employment contracts and non-competes.
During law school, he was a member of St. Mary’s Law Review. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court and before all Texas districts of the federal court system.
Representative Experience
- Represented Putman Investments in a case that involved taxpayer and constitutional challenges to the validity of the client’s municipal bond investments.
- Represented Kodak in a successful litigation and arbitration matter involving government contracts providing technology supporting to U.S. Military.
- Represented Bell Helicopter/Textron in a case involving a U.S. government investigation of vendor fraud.
- Represented City of Texarkana in a case involving title to water rights and service contracts with neighboring cities.
- Represented S.A.I.C. in employment related litigation and qui tam lawsuit brought by U.S. Government.
- Represented Provident life Assurance Co. in multi-million dollar recovery in fraudulent transfer case.
- Represented Bank of New York in fiduciary/trust litigation.
- Represented Harvard Property Trust in successful jury trial involving employment contract claims.
- Represented Linx Data in successful contract litigation against AT&T.
