About
Mr. Frederiksen concentrates on business litigation and employment-related matters. With 33 years of trial experience, Mr. Frederiksen has accomplished a feat that is becoming a rarity in the legal profession. He has served as lead trial counsel in over 100 jury trials held in both state and federal courts. His civil litigation experience includes work in complex commercial matters, securities, antitrust, unfair competition and employment-related matters.
During law school, he was a member of St. Mary’s Law Review. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court and before all Texas districts of the federal court system. He was named as a “Texas Super Lawyer” in Business Litigation Law in the 2003, 2004, and 2005 survey of Texas Monthly magazine.

- Represented Putman Investments in a case that involved taxpayer and constitutional challenges to the validity of the client’s municipal bond investments.
- Represented Kodak in a successful litigation and arbitration matter involving government contracts providing technology supporting to U.S. Military.
- Represented Bell Helicopter/Textron in a case involving a U.S. government investigation of vendor fraud.
- Represented City of Texarkana in a case involving title to water rights and service contracts with neighboring cities.
- Represented S.A.I.C. in employment related litigation and qui tam lawsuit brought by U.S. Government.
- Represented Provident life Assurance Co. in multi-million dollar recovery in fraudulent transfer case.
- Represented Bank of New York in fiduciary/trust litigation.
- Represented Harvard Property Trust in successful jury trial involving employment contract claims.
- Represented Linx Data in successful contract litigation against AT&T.
