James S. Robertson, III

About

Mr. Robertson primarily represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and arbitration matters and real estate and oil and gas transactions.  His arbitration and litigation experience includes matters involving alcoholic beverage regulation, creditor’s rights, civil rights, contract construction and enforcement, debt collection, fraud and deceptive trade practices, fraudulent transfers, landlord-tenant disputes, oil and gas matters, will contests, partner and shareholder controversies, and real property title controversies.  He also regularly represents clients in real estate and oil and gas transactions.

Mr. Robertson worked as a petroleum landman before attending law school.  During law school, he served as the Student Works and Research Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal (now known as the S.M.U. Law Review) and on the moot court board.
